About Xenopedia
My channel is dedicated to speculative evolution and alien life. We explore seed worlds and world-building, asking what might happen if a small group of organisms were introduced to an empty planet and allowed to evolve over millions of years.
These projects follow evolutionary rules to build believable alien biospheres from the ground up. Other episodes take a more realistic astrobiology approach, starting with real exoplanets, moons, and extreme environments.
Using what we know from biology, chemistry, and planetary science, the channel speculates on how alien life could plausibly look, behave, and survive under different gravities, atmospheres, energy sources, and chemistries.
